What is the difference between the Q1 and Q2?

The Q1 (health assessment questionnaire) is designed for people that are only suffering from mild symptoms and do not require an extensive evaluation of their health. For example, the Q1 is recommended if you have a mild skin rash, boils, minor digestive symptoms, reduced immune function (and want to improve immune function to help prevent recurrent coughs and colds), and other minor health issues. The Q1 is designed to offer you professional naturopathic advice for your presenting symptoms but it does not include consideration of the underlying causes of your health problems.

The Q2 (health assessment questionnaire) includes a far more comprehensive questionnaire and therefore extended time to assess your health and more time to develop an individual treatment program for your health problems. The Q2 includes an extensive assessment as well as the development of an individual treatment plan aimed at treating the underlying causes of your condition as well as your symptoms.
A comprehensive questionnaire will be emailed to you once payment has been received. When you return your completed form to us, our naturopathic physician will spend around one hour assessing your case and an individually designed treatment plan will then be emailed to you to assist you to resolve your health problems.

The Q2 is recommended when you are suffering from long-term health problems such as hormonal imbalances (thyroid condition; menopausal symptoms; PMS; PCOS; Endometriosis, Fibroids; Male menopause; prostate problems, etc.), weight gain, fatigue, digestive system problems (IBS, Ulcerative colitis, Heartburn, Reflux, etc); Allergies; Auto-Immune diseases; Cardiovascular disorders; Long-term Infections or Recurrent Infections; Degenerative &/or Inflammatory joint disorders; Anxiety or Depression; Insomnia; Immune Suppression which has lead to Cancer or other serious diseases or any other chronic health disorder that requires a complete assessment of your current health in order to provide accurate treatment advice. The Q2 is also recommended if you are fit and healthy and require a personalised wellness program to help prevent the onset of disease as we take your family history into consideration as well as your own health status. The Q2 may also include dietary advice or an eating program, if required, whereas the Q1 does not.

How will a Q1 or Q2 Assessment Help Me?

Once a thorough case history is taken (completion of our online questionnaire), recommendations will be made to you based on the information provided. How Does an Online Assessment Work?

Online assessments allow people to complete a comprehensive questionnaire in their own time and email it back to us. Once completed, our Naturopathic Physician, Sara Rooney, will personally assess your case and develop an appropriate treatment plan that will be designed to reverse your symptoms and health problems.

Depending on bookings, the assessment is usually completed within 5-7 working days after receiving your completed questionnaire, and often sooner. The treatments that are recommended to you will then be easily accessible to you anywhere in Australia or overseas (at an extra charge). The superior-quality treatments that Sara prescribes are only available through qualified, registered, naturopathic practitioners and cannot be compared with products available ‘off the shelf’ or via the internet.
