7 Simple Health Strategies You Need To Know

The following factors may help you achieve much better health and high vitality:

* Adequate, restful sleep (Around 8 hours of sound sleep a night is ideal) in a dark room with good ventilation.

* Regular relaxation needs to be built into your daily life. Reading, meditating, having a massage or listening to music can all promote relaxation.

* Ensure you get plenty of sunshine and fresh air every day (at least 30 minutes each day).

* Participate in regular exercise for relieving stress, building muscle, improving circulation, reducing excess weight and other great health effects (a 30 – 60 minute brisk walk each day out in the fresh air would be ideal*). * Seek medical advice before starting an exercise program.

* Eat small meals every 3 to 4 hours to balance your blood glucose levels and make sure you chew food slowly.

* Ensure your bowels function regularly by providing your body with enough fibre via a sufficient daily intake of fruit and vegetables.

* Drink 2 to 3 litres of filtered water each day (which can also help regulate bowels and eliminate toxins).

Practicing these simple habits every day should help increase your general health and help you to live a happier and healthier life.

These beneficial lifestyle principles are part of good naturopathic health care and if you are not currently following any of these healthy habits, perhaps try to introduce one of them at a time until it becomes an ingrained habit. Once you are implementing one of these habits daily, try introducing the next good habit and so on…..until you are following all of them.
